<B>William Henry Harrison: Remarkable Folk Art Silk Sash.</B></I> Hand-colored original artwork on beautifully embossed off-white silk sash, obviously a literally unique item. Features Harrison in military uniform on one end, and his log cabin and hard cider barrel at the other. Portrait is of quite substantial size, measuring approximately 2.5" x 3", and very nicely rendered. When laid out flat, will measure 22" x 3", but displays very nicely folded as pictured. Indeed, it could have been worn as a badge in this form, with a rosette-type pin at the top, but no evidence of such attachment is present. Beautiful condition, with only a few scattered and utterly trivial small stain marks. A great W. H.
