Hollywood film producer and studio executive (1903–1969), who in 1935, along with Darryl F. Zanuck, formed 20th Century Fox. Among his credits are Sayonara and The House of Rothschild. Vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To ‘Bud’ with the best wishes of Wm. Goetz.” Moderate to heavy contrast to signature and portion of inscription, and some scattered light creases and surface marks, otherwise fine condition. Photo’s recipient was noted make-up artist Bud Westmore, who is credited on over 450 movies and television shows, including To Kill a Mockingbird, Man of a Thousand Faces, The Andromeda Strain, and Creature from the Black Lagoon.
