ALS signed “W. F. Cody,” one page, lightly-lined, 6.25 x 11, Cody’s Irma Hotel letterhead, November 22, 1913. Brief letter to a man in Illinois. In full: “I was born near LeClair fifteen miles above Davenport Iowa.” In very good condition, with central horizontal and vertical fold, passing through a single letter of signature, a few small edge tears, uniform light toning, and partial mirroring of signature from folding. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Cody’s hand.
