Wonderful original vintage 4.25 x 6 Gessford cabinet photo of Cody in a three-piece suit and hat, signed and inscribed in the lower border in black ink “W. F. Cody ‘Buffalo Bill’ To J. W. Voglesong 1908.” In fine condition, with Cody’s initials over photographer’s imprint, a couple trivial surface marks, and a thin piece of cardstock and tape remnants to reverse. A crystal clear and distinguished portrait signed in the final year of Cody’s Wild West show.
