TLS signed “W. C. Durant,” one page, 8.25 x 11, Republic Motor Company letterhead, September 26, 1913. Durant writes W. M. Campbell at Montreal General Hospital in Canada. In part: “I have just learned of your recent illness and beg to congratulate you upon your successful operation and recovery. As soon as you are in position to take up the work again, we will be only too glad to discuss the handling of the territory formerly controlled by you. The new models have been received favorably and the rush of orders is so great that we are declining all new business for the time being.” Intersecting folds with a vertical fold through his name, small tear along the left edge, wrinkling, a couple spots of mild toning and soiling, otherwise very good condition. Great automotive content.
