The subtitle of the book reads as follows: <I>Being an Account of the Hawaiian People, the Geology and Geography of the Islands, and the Native and Introduced Plants and Animals of the Group.</B></I> The check receipt signed by Bryan is dated November 20, 1915 and noted as being "<I>for one copy Natural History of Hawaii</B></I>".
