WILLIAM A. RICHARDSON (1821-1896). Richardson was Grant’s second Treasury Secretary. Partly printed Document Signed. 1 page. 7¾ x 9¾ ”. Washington D.C. 1872. Appointment certificate from the Internal Revenue Service appointing William Pearson IRS Storekeeper. Signature is in dark ink and very fine. Impressed seal gives along with the ornate printing and calligraphy gives this document a terrific presentation.
