Postmaster general in the Harding administration (1879–1954) who later headed the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America, in which capacity he oversaw enforcement of the notorious “Production Code” that imposed strict censorship guidelines on all Hollywood films for decades. Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 head-and-shoulders portrait, signed in black fountain pen. In very good condition, with horizontal crease passing through his chin and a few other scattered surface flaws. Accompanied by two letters acknowledging receipt of an autograph request and confirming the mailing of a signed photo. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
