William Harridge (1883-1971) served as president of the American League from 1931 to 1958. Roger Peckinpaugh (1891-1977) served as general manager and president of the Cleveland Indians following his retirement as a player. Partly-printed DS, three pages on two adjoining sheets, 8.5 x 11, March 27, 1946. A uniform player’s contract for David Paynter for a salary of $500.00 a month plus bonus. Signed in black fountain pen by American League President William Harridge, and in blue fountain pen by Cleveland Indians president Roger Peckinpaugh as well as Paynter. In fine condition, with few scattered creases. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
