Fine, with some light spotting and sharp markings on the otherwise fine blade, mild pitting on the guard, and strong original finish on the very fine hilt, with finely aged brass in the exposed areas and verdigris buildup concentrated on one side. Sheath is very good, with exception of the retention strap torn with mild wear overall. Etching on blade is excellent.
