ALS in German, one page, 5.5 x 3.5, June 21, 1925. Written and signed in fountain pen ink by Wilhelm Furtwangler. The conductor writes to composer Georg Jokl, stating that he would be happy to receive a copy of his correspondent's score “Nachtmusik for Strings and Fanfare,” “in order to make your acquaintance artistically.” In concluding he adds that he cannot promise a performance this year as everything is already booked. In very good condition, with scattered toning and soiling, light creasing, and small mounting remnant to lower right corner. Hand-addressed and postally franked to the reverse. RRAuction COA.
