Two items: Signed book: Around the World in Eight Days. First edition. NY: Rand McNally, 1931. Hardcover, 6.25 x 8.75, 304 pages plus appendix. Signed in fountain pen on the title page by “Wiley Post” and “Harold Gatty” (and accompanied by an ink signature and sentiment, “After a fine trip, Will Rogers” [who wrote the book’s introduction] on a pink 5.5 x 4.25 album page that bears another signature below). In very good overall condition, with owner’s ink name and light rubbing, soiling, toning to fore-edges, and faint spots to book, and a hint of subtle toning to album page.
