Signed upon the front free endpaper, ''To Mr. & Mrs. Lowell Welch / With every good wish / Ronald Reagan 7/27/65''. The title of the book comes from ''King's Row,'' a 1942 movie. Reagan called it his favorite film and claimed his role in it ''made me a star.'' Bound in black cloth boards with gilt lettering to the spine.
