This piano was manufactured in 1901 by the Wheelock Piano Company of New York. The cabinet is Grade 4 which is considered rare. It is made from Birds Eye Maple. The top and bottom panels are accented with custom stained glass, custom designed and built by renowned Sassins Door and Glass Gallery of San Antonio, Texas. A rare Piano with tap with Bass Drum and Timpani Beaters, Snare Drum with Tap and Roll, a Reiterating Tambourine, Cymbal, Indian Woodblock, Triangle and Glockenspiel (bells). The orchestration can be operated continuously at the flip of the on and off switch, or songs can be played one at a time using the 25 Cent Coin-op. There are up to 15 songs per roll, and it automatically rewinds and starts over again. Double Wheeled Casters provide extra support. This piano was appraised at $19,500 as of April, 2000.
