Wheatley Pottery Border Tiles 1925
Outstanding architectural design on this set of 5 matching tiles made by Wheatley Pottery of Cincinnati, Ohio, circa 1925. There is a matte blue curdled glaze applied in the recesses of the raised line unglazed design. Each measures 5 7/8" x 2" x 3/4" thick. They are design # 1161. Some with small rubs to a couple of high points and minimal edge roughness - generally in very nice to excellent condition
