<B>West Side Story (United Artists, 1961).</B></I> One Sheet (27" X 41"). Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins, as a team, directed this masterful adaptation of the Broadway musical, which was an updated version of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet." This incredible film was the winner of ten Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor and Actress (George Chakiris, Rita Moreno), and a special Oscar for Jerome Robbins' choreography. This Saul Bass designed poster has staple holes in the corners and in the left side of the image. A scratch is visible in the left side of the field as is a small hole above the "W" in the title and a smudge under the "h" in "achieves." The linen backing has been trimmed to the edges of the poster. This poster displays beautifully.
