This satin glass figural powder jar known as WENDY is shown and described on pages 34-35 in Whitmyer: Bedroom & Bathroom Glassware of the Depression Years. With a striking Art Deco design featuring a flapper girl with outstreched arms resting upon her skirt. She is wearing a low-cut gown with a double strand of beads around her neck. and she is beautifully executed with fine definition and attention to detail. The, four footed, oval jar with lid measures about 4 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" x 4" and, with the exception of a small flake on her dress, are both in excellent condition
