The lock plates are marked "W RICHARDS & Co/BELGIUM." Checkered pistol grip stock and forearm with a checkered hard rubber buttplate featuring an elk head. Extractor, 2 3/4 inch chambers, choke measures skeet/improved cylinder and length of pull is 14 1/2 inches. The knife measures 13 1/4 inches overall, with an 8 1/2 inch blade bearing a Maleham & Yeomans Sheffield stamp on the left side, and the spurious etching "Property of/Wells Fargo & Co.'s Express/Official U.S. Mail Knife" on the right. Good. The shotgun has a mottled brown-gray patina showing some light pitting (mostly on the barrels). The wood is good with a couple missing slivers of wood, some minor dings and gouges and worn checkering with the buttplate missing a chip at the toe. Barrels are slightly loose, otherwise action is fine. The knife is good having a mixed gray patina and spotting on the blade. Etching is well detailed. Some chips and cracks on the grips.
