EXP.” on cover; case is approx. 2” in diameter with stamp being approx. 1-1/2” in diameter and marked “WellsFargo & Co. Express Messenger 28”; accompanied by a Wells Fargo & Co. Express Water-Front Pass for Pier #14 in the Port of San Francisco, California numbered 769406 and issued to messenger C.H.E. Black on May 1,1918 with his picture; issued by, signed and stamped “J.B. Holohan, United States Marshal, Northern District of California. This is the only such stamp, container and Water-Front Pass we have had the opportunity to offer for sale and in our opinion, the set is completely authentic. Est.: $400-$800.
