Well made miniature of mid 19th-century field canon with bronze tube, showing presentation plaque which reads “To Robert E. Petersen, February 9th, 1974, from his many friends in New York”. The piece measures 14-1/2” to thetop of the wheels, 32-1/2” from muzzle of the cannon to the end of the carriage. The tube measures 16-3/8”. Stamped “USA” at the muzzle, measuring approx. 1”. The touch hole is not drilled. The canon comes with two rods and a bucket and is well made throughout. A quality miniature. From the Robert Petersen collection. Est: $1,000 - $2,000
