Wedgwood Blue Flower Pattern Creamware Tableware
This group of Wedgwood creamware, also known as Queen's Ware, dates to the English Regency period, circa 1800-1820. The set features a hand-painted blue flower pattern, specifically harebells or bluebells, accented by green foliage and brown-painted rope-twist rims. The collection includes a basket-formed bowl with a tray, a footed sugar bowl with lid, and one small oval plate. The basket and tray exhibit intricate molded basketweave and gadrooned details, with the basket featuring a sturdy double-twisted rope handle. The footed sugar bowl is designed with an ovoid body, twin spurred handles, and a domed lid with a pointed finial. The tray bears the impressed WEDGWOOD mark on the reverse. This set carries significant provenance, featuring inventory labels from the Collection of J.D. and Louise Trabue and previous auction stickers from Skinner. Largest item (basket) measures approximately 10.5 inches in length.
