Webley & Scott Model Webley Green Target Revolver with Regimental Inscription

Manufactured from 1882 to 1886. The front sight has a pinned blade and the target rear sight is drift adjustable for windage. The top of the rib is marked "P. WEBLEY & SON LONDON & BIRMINGHAM" and the barrel lug on the left side is marked "450/455." The left side of the top strap is marked "WG TARGET MODEL" and the left side of the frame had the winged bullet logo and "WEBLEY/PATENTS." The rear cylinder face has the partial serial number (081) and the caliber marking "455." Fitted with checkered grips which are also numbered to the gun. The full serial number "22081" is found on the right side of the frame and on the left side of the frame under the grip panel. The back strap has an inscription: "C.H. Bailey, 1st Mon. Regt (F)."

Fine. The revolver retains half of the original high polished blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The grips are very good with a couple wood filled repairs, a few minor pressure dents and some minor blemishes in the overall crisp checkering.
