Webley & Scott Birmingham England double-barrel side by side 20ga boxlock shotgun. 28” barrels, double trigger, auto ejector, hand-filed raised milled rib, non-ventilated. Blue and case hardenedfinish, English style straight stock, serial #139745. The gun shows 3” nitro proof, with 3-1/2 tons per square inch marking. Choked approx. Ex. Full (right) and Ex. Full (left). The gun remains in fine to excellentcondition showing 97-99% original blue on barrel, 95-99% case hardening, some slight loss to the trigger guard which is approx. 80%. The stocks have been lightly refreshed with no evidence of sanding, with good woodto metal fit and crisp checkering. The forend is nicely flared and almost a beaver-tail, and is the original matching to the stock. The stock measures 14” to the end of the wood, 15” to the end of the added recoil pad. The action is tight, the bores are excellent. A quality English boxlock in desirable gauge by recognized English maker. Est: $1,250 - $2,500
