Webley & Scott, Birmingham England, 28ga, side by side boxlock shotgun with import marks by “Service Armament Company, Richfield, New Jersey” in original trunk-type casing. The barrel measures 25”, chokedapprox. “Improved Cylinder” (right), “Extra Full” (left). Automatic ejectors, double-triggers, blue and case hardened finish, English style straight stock with checkered wood butt. The s tock measuresslightly over 15” from the front trigger to the end of the wood. The gun remains in fine to excellent condition showing 97-98% of its bright blue and case hardened finish. Just some slight beginning age on the triggerguard and front edge of barrel. The interior shows very little use. The stocks are crisply checkered and also fine to excellent, just slight handling, possible limited use. The original Webley & Scott case remains in nearfine condition, some slight impressions on the top in the fabric. The case contains original snap-caps, oiler, and leather straps. A seldom encountered Webley & Scott which is proofed 2-3/4 tons per square inch.
