WWII era British military top-break double action service revolver, chambered for the British Revolver Mk 1 .38/200 cartridge, manufactured circa 1943. Features a blued "WAR FINISH", 5" barrel, raised round blade front sight, square notch rear sight cut into the top of the barrel catch, fluted six-shot cylinder, smooth trigger, serrated wide hammer spur, square butt frame with lanyard ring on the butt and two-piece diamond checkered black hard rubber grips with "Webley" moldered into the tops. All observed serial numbers are matching with the grips unnumbered. Markings: Top Strap - "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD," & "MARK IV 38". Frame - "WAR FINISH" & "85387" stamped twice. The cylinder is stamped with London proofs. Revolver displays a mostly even light brown patina with a couple gouges in the underside of the barrel and the grip straps in-the-white. Action is sound with solid lock-up, the bore is pristine, markings are crisp and the grips are good with "TOFF.?" carved into to butt of the left panel. Condition is near NRA Good. ***C&R Firearm***
