<B>Adam Smith <I>An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations</B></I></B></I> (London: William Allason, 1819), third edition in three volumes, volume one 360 pages, volume two 514 pages, volume three 499 pages, all volumes 8vo (5.25" x 8.5"), full leather with gold decorations, including the spine. All volumes are in very good condition with some rubbing to corners, wear to the exterior hinges, volume three has moderate spine wear with some flaking to the leather at the head and foot of the spine. A very old book plate located on the inside front cover of each volume.
