In 1975 Ensrud was invited as the first American painter to exhibit at the French Institute Gallery, N.YC. He became known in the world of fine wines for his pictures of Bordeaux and the vineyards. He has designed menus, posters, and advertising for many fine restaurants. He also worked as a free-lance art director and animator for major television networks, and taught art at Simon's Rock Early College. His commissioned work includes portraits of jazz legends Count Basie, and George Shearing, as well as a mural for the New York restaurant Larre. His art has appeared in numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums, and it can be found in selected public and private collections. * We are pleased to present from an estate a group of dedicated artist proofs. *
