<B>Way for a Sailor (MGM, 1930).</B></I> One Sheet (27" X 41"). This was John Gilbert's second sound film for MGM, serving out his contract. Never the same after being left at the altar by Greta Garbo, Gilbert appears gamely in this fun film about merchant sailors. He appears on this very rare photogravure style one sheet with one of the rowdiest 'take-no-prisoners' comediennes of all time, Polly Moran, playing a dockside floozie. The poster has been professionally linen-backed for pinholes, and a mild extra vertical crease in the upper right field. There are minor chips along the vertical fold line. Excellent registration.
