<B>Watonga, OK</B></I> - $20 1882 Value Back Fr. 583 <B>The First NB</B></I> Ch. # (W)5804<BR> This newly discovered example walked into our offices late last year, and is offered here to the numismatic community for the first time. It comes from one of the most difficult to obtain towns in Oklahoma, a one bank community with just three notes, two Territorials and one state issue, making up the entire census. The state note and one of the Territorials have never been previously offered to collectors at public sale, and the sole appearance of the other Territorial came in 2006, when, grading just Fine, it realized $37,950 at auction. This specimen also grades <B>Fine, </B></I>and is a problem free piece with good color, signatures, and appearance for the grade.
