In all 26 former Nixon aides and agents pled guilty or were convicted. The scandal forced Nixon to resign from office in disgrace. The signed photograph has been signed by all 43 members, mostly on the wide lower white margin. In addition, the reverse has been inscribed and signed by John J. Sirica (dated 10/1/74) and signed by John Ehrlichman, Jeb Magruder, Bob Haldeman, Leon Jaworski, Howard Hunt, James F. Neal as well as eight others. Accompanied by a TLS and a signed photograph, from Archibald Cox to the same collector; an ink sketch of Sirica beneath the great seal of the United States, inscribed in the lower margin: "A sketch of John Sirica on the bench, made during my trial…with best wishes, John Ehrlichman, 3-1-83". Truly a unique and irreplaceable group of items relating to the Watergate scandal. Very fine condition overall.
