<B>George Washington: A Most Unusual Large Memorial Silhouette Pendant</B></I>. A clearly recognizable Washington profile, with some relief detail, is superimposed over a background paper with a wreath of leaves. On reverse is a tightly woven bow made of dark hair - presumably not Washington’s. Encased in what appears to be a silver frame, with a suspension loop at top. High-domed glass covering on each side, one of which has a fine diagonal crack. Some minor moisture discoloration inside. An impressive period Washington memento.
