A lot of two different Washington copper mining company certificates issued 1902 and 1908. 1) Sunset Copper Mining Company: Cert. #908, issued in 1902 to Herbert G. Damon for 200 shares. Signed by J. Hoderberg as president and secretary [illegible]. Three mining vignettes. Black and green on crème. 10” x 8”. U/C. Principal place of business: Everett, Washington printed on the certificate. No printer noted. VF. 2) United Copper Mining Company: Cert. #244, issued to J.B. Rogers for 1,000 shares at Spokane in 1908. Signed by N. Wolfe as president and Gale Smith as secretary. Three mining vignettes. 10” x 5 ½”. Black on crème with gold seal.U/C. By 1908, the company produced circa 360,000 lbs. fine copper and projected by the company to be about 1 million ounces in 1909.
