Wartime Production Walther Model PPK Semi-Automatic Pistol with Matching numbered Magazine

Manufactured late in World War II, this pistol is finished and marked in the style that Stepan describes as "Type Six", with the serial number shifted from the front of the muzzle to the side of the slide, evidence of later war-expedient design and machining, and the magazine base, numbered "393197 k/2" on the bottom. Fitted with fixed sights, a ring hammer, smooth trigger and checkered wraparound grips. With a copy of SS Walther PP/PPK Identification and Documents Gold Edition by Steven J. Stepan.

Guage: 7.65 mm auto
Finish: blue
Grips: plastic
Serial Number: 393197k

Fine, with 70% of the thin original blue finish, showing the start of a gray patina on the slide, plum on the frame, with bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. The grips are very good with some hairline cracks and dents. Mechanically excellent.
