Written during his incarceration following the failed Beer Hall Putsch, Mein Kampf (My Struggle) was half-autobiography, half-blueprint for the impending Third Reich, laying out Hitler's political aims and goals for the nation, including the desire to secure "Lebensraum" (Living Room) at the expense of Eastern Europe and Russia. Blue leather spine, with "Adolph/Hitler" and "Mein/Kampf" in impressed gold lettering at the top, a oak leaf and acorn pattern below, and "Kriegs-/Ausgabe" (War Edition) at the bottom, and plain brown leather covers. The information page lists a print date of 1944, by M. Mueller & Son of Vienna, Austria, and the second page has been signed with what appears to be "Gordon Stewart/November 1945". Included with the book is a hardwood case, with the lid bearing carved "SS" runes in the center, an asterisk at the top and a swastika at the bottom.
