Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 17.5 x 13.5, April 12, 1923. President Harding appoints Edward S. Breithaupt to be the Postmaster of Gifford, Illinois. Signed at the conclusion by Harding and countersigned by Postmaster General Harry New. Double suede matted and framed with a portrait and a biographical plaque to an overall size of 37.5 x 25.5. In fine condition, with central horizontal and vertical fold and a uniform shade of toning. Oversized.
