Rare autograph letter signed ''W. G. Harding'' upon United States Senate letterhead dated 12 June 1915. A letter of introduction for C.D. Schaffer reads in part, ''The bearer...is my neighbor...and more or less a business associate. He is making his first trip to Washington, and I am writing this note in the hope that he may know the fullest courtesies accorded a visitor...'' One page measures 8'' x 9.75'' in near fine condition with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, and some scattered light toning and spotting.
