This company was formed to served Edison's Portland Cement Company. Thomas Edison (1847–1931) was an American inventor, entrepreneur, and one of history's most prolific innovators, holding over 1,000 patents. He developed groundbreaking technologies including the phonograph, the incandescent light bulb, and the motion picture camera. Edison's creation of the first industrial research laboratory in Menlo Park, New Jersey, revolutionized the process of invention by fostering teamwork and systematic experimentation.
