Pre-war Walther training rifle, with ramp blade and tangent sights. Top of barrel has maker and model markings with a nitro and crown/N proofs on left side. Right side of barrel and receiver have crown/letter proofs. Receiver grooved for scope mounting with "Waffenfabrik Walther / Zella-Mehlis Thuringen" marked on top at the rear. Smooth stock with leather sling. Right side of buttstock has a stamped eagle/swastika.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish with a faint plum patina, moderate muzzle wear, and a smooth gray patina on the bolt handle. The barrel has some minor spotting with a long scratch near the muzzle, and has been fitted, with two Unertl type scope blocks on top of the barrel. The stock has been repaired at the grip area, otherwise good with an area of gouges on the buttstock (left side) and some minor dings and scratches. The top of the handguard has been altered, to accommodate the scope.
