Walther Model 1936 Olympia Semi-Automatic Pistol

The Walther Olympia is considered, in terms of design, accuracy and finish, to be one of the finest target automatic pistols ever produced. The under side of the frame is drilled for counter weights. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and the front sight is adjustable for elevation. Grips are two-piece checkered walnut with a thumb-rest on the left side. The serial number is located on the left side of the receiver spur and on the left side of the slide behind the serrations. The right side of the slide is marked "CAL.22 long rifle". The opposite side of the slide is marked with the Walther Banner followed by the factory legend in two lines and the designation "OLYMPIA-PISTOLE". "Eagle/N" proof marks are present and the magazine has a wooden extension matching the grips (numbered to the gun).

Excellent. The pistol retains 95% slightly faded original blue finish showing high edge wear and minor thinning on the front grip strap. The barrel has a series of long scratches. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor handling marks and limited blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
