<B>Walter Schirra Typed Letter Signed</B></I> "<I>Walter M. Schirra, Jr.,</B></I>" one page, 8" x 10.5". NASA, Houston, February 10, 1967. Schirra, as Summary Court Officer, Grissom Estate, identifies J.D. Garino "as the authorized agent for the Virgil I. Grissom family, for returning a 1967 Stingray to Seabrook, Texas" and authorizes him to use two credit cards for expenses incurred bringing the car from Florida to Texas. Grissom had died in the Apollo fire on January 27, 1967, two weeks earlier. File holes at top. <I>From the collection of renowned former physical trainer of the astronauts Joe Garino.
