This, with a secure hand rendered, chalk drawing depicts a young woman with undressed upper body, whose head and shoulders are covered by a cloth. One half of her face is in shade, while the portrayed is looking directly at the viewer. A very good artistic work – proportions and depths of the depiction are harmonious.



The drawing is signed lower right with pencil ‘Roshardt’. It is framed under a mat and depicts clear marks of light. The sheet shows slight handling creases. The frame is in good condition without noteworthy traces of wear and age. The mat cutout measures ca. 29.7 x 22 cm, the sheet is 35.5 x 28.5 cm, and the total dimensions, including the frame, are 43.5 x 35.5 cm. (tm)
