Circa 1915 Walter Johnson Handwritten Signed Note. One of the earliest autographs you'll find from this dominating early century pitcher, and a full ALS no less! The note is penned on a 3x5" card, and we have been informed that Johnson is referring to a newspaper article he had written. It reads, in part, "Dear Sir, This might be too much of a lecture for the parents, but if this won't do let me know…" He closes the note with "Very Best Wishes, Walter Johnson." All ink remains quite bold these many decades later, rating a solid 9/10. The note card on which the correspondence was penned is lightly and evenly toned, with no tears, creases or stains. A very rare and desirable piece for the advanced autograph collector. LOA from PSA/DNA.
