Autograph letter signed on Hotel Blackhawk stationery by baseball hero Walter Johnson. Letter confirms his inviting nature with, ''Dear Dan: Thanks for your letter / I hope that I will get to see you play baseball someday. Lots of good luck to you / Sincerely / Walter Johnson''. Undated though Blackhawk stationery dates it to 1914 or later when the hotel was renamed as such. Measures 6'' x 9.25''. In blue ink, with minute foxing and mailing folds. Overall very good condition.
