American painter (1877-1949) and organizer of the modern art Armory Show of 1913, which was the first of its genre in America. DS, two pages, 8 x 13, September 9, 1920. Agreement for the sale of Kuhn’s Ogunquit, Maine home for the price of $2500. Signed on the second page by Kuhn, as well as one of the most noted art collectors in America John Quinn. Document is still housed in its original legal folder. In fine condition, with expected folds. A rare combination of signatures as Quinn bought more artwork from the Armory Show than anyone else.
