Maybe they don't appreciate the fact that they're lost in the Okeefenokee in one of America's greatest comic strips, but we sure do. Add to the beautiful drawing, Kelly's ongoing patter ("Are we downhearted?" "Yes!"), plus a healthy dose of silliness in the person of Beauregard J. Bugleboy the hound, and you've got enough glee and perloo to go around twice. This is 16" x 23.5" of art on a 17" x 26" page. The three tiers of art have been cut and retaped together on the back, and there are four tape marks on the front sides, but the art itself is in nice, white condition. <B>Estimate: $1,200-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
