Magazine cover from the December 27, 1954, issue of Time magazine, 7.5 x 10, featuring an image of Disney surrounded by over 20 of his memorable creations, including Mickey, Pluto, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Dumbo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Stanley Krippor, Walt Disney.” In very good condition, with trimmed edges, and light to moderate contrast to portions of signature and inscription. This was Walt Disney’s second appearance on the cover of Time, December 27, 1954. Over two dozen Disney characters are pictured on this cover, drawn by Boris Chaliapin, son of the famed Russian opera singer Feodor Chaliapin.
