<B>Walt Disney Signed Check to Earl Warren Campaign Fund.</B></I> A personal check for the sum of $250, dated April 29, 1952 and signed "Walter E. Disney" in black ink, made payable to the Earl Warren Campaign Fund. Warren was a "favorite son" candidate of California for the Republican nomination in 1952, but withdrew in support of Eisenhower. He was appointed to the Supreme Court the following year, and to the surprise of many, Warren was a much more liberal justice than had been anticipated, shaping a long series of landmark decisions that included <I>Brown v. Board of Education</B></I> and <I>Miranda v.
