<B>Walt Disney Correspondence and First Day Envelope (1953-68).</B></I> This interesting lot includes a typed letter to a former Disney employee from Walt Disney, on full color ""Peter Pan"" stationary, dated April 6, 1953. In it, Mr. Disney discusses how ""Peter Pan"" was doing at the box office in its fifth week of release, and reveals details about his upcoming live-action feature, ""Rob Roy,"" and he signed the letter as ""Walt"", in blue ink. Also included is a special presentation of the 1968 Walt Disney First Day of Issue (September 11, 1968) stamped envelope, a copy of a letter of thanks to Roy Disney, and Roy's reply, dated November 7, 1968. Also included is a note from Madeleine Wheeler (Walt's personal secretary), written on Mickey Mouse notepaper.
