Walsh 10 shot percussion revolver with 5 chambers made for superposed loads in .31 caliber (refer Flayderman 7A – 117). These were made by the New Haven Arms Company concurrent with the Henry rifle at the same time that Oliver Winchester was president and major stockholder making them a first cousin to the Henry rifle and Volcanic. The barrel address is sharp and fully visible. The metal surfaces are good with a dark patina and some minor erosion and pinprick pitting. The action revolves well and the brass frame shows a mustard color patina with very good grips. Only approximately 1,500 were made from about 1859 to 1862. Est.: $3,500-$7,000.
