Top with replaced cornice molding, separations, patches, repairs, drawer sides rebuilt, lacking original locks, replaced brass pulls, base with partial replaced bed molding, mortise repairs, original feet cut and reattached, worm damage, losses to cockbeading, minor losses and discoloration to inlay. Unusual variation of Rowan County chest on frame, comma inlay and canted corner inlay resembles work from Swisegood-Long School in nearby Davidson County. Reserve: $8,000
